The Ecobuilding.dk website

This website is administered by the Danish company Cenergia and it can be reached at: www.ecobuilding.dk

The ecobuilding.dk website is a result of the EU-Thermie B funded project “Ecohouse Rom Net” (DIS-1830/98/DK), which has been realised with the aim to inspire decision makers and those responsible for developing projects in the building sector to invest in low-energy projects by giving access to the ideas, technologies and references from existing projects. Special focus of the project has been on widespread integrated dissemination of the results from a broad group of EU-Thermie targeted projects in the building sector in Europe. The target group here is mainly builders, consultants and urban planners in European cities.

Main Features:

1.      Access to information concerning EU-Thermie target project results in the building sector and other EU-supported projects.

2.      Possibility to download the Optibuild tool which can make life cycle costs optimisation over 30 years for building projects.

3.      Link to relevant websites concerning sustainable solar low-energy building in Europe including target project websites in the building sector.

4.      Link to Best Available Technologies in the “greenglobal21” website.

5.      Link to Green Build energy and environmental point system/checklist questionnaire system in the “greenglobal21” website.

In the following is shown a list of presented projects in the ecobuilding.dk website.

List of projects presented in the www.ecobuilding.dk website:

1.      EC 2000

2.      EHEN93

3.      EXPOCities

4.      Green Cities

5.      Remma

6.      Meduca

7.      SUNH

8.      SHINE

9.      Restart

10.  SunVent

11.  Innopex

12.  PV-VENT

13.  Green Solar Regions

14.  Green Housing Block

15.  Green Catalogue

16.  Green Build point system

17.  Skotteparken (gammel artikel/paper)

18.  RD one-family houses (paper om hus i Virum/Save projekt)

For EU-Thermie target projects like EHEN93, Green Cities and Meduca it is possible to find both detailed information on individual projects, including information on vertical integration of different energy saving technologies in each of the involved countries and it is in addition to this also possible to find horizontal information on how a special technology as e.g. solar DHW heating is utilised in different countries or to identify monitoring results in the different countries.

For other EU-Thermie target projects there is access to more limited project information but with a link to individual websites, e.g. for meduca, sunh, shine, EC2000 and restart.

In addition to this, information on other important European projects like SunVent, Innopex, PV-VENT, Green Solar Regions, Green Housing Block and Skotteparken are also included.

There is also information on the Green Catalogue project and the Green Build point system and there is a link to a special Danish project on energy efficient one-family houses, including an article in English on this (The Danish information here can be found under: www.lavenergibolig.dk).

Figure 1. In the ecobuilding.dk website you can find downloads, choose which projects you want to see and choose individual project information.

Figure 2. For individual target projects you can e.g. find information on a special technology in all the involved countries. Like her for solar heating in the Green Cities project.

Optibuild

The Optibuild tool has been developed by Cenergia. By help of a present value calculation over 30 years a life cycle costs calculation can be made considering capital costs of investments and with maintenance and operation costs. Based on this a positive list of the most economic energy saving measures can be identified including information on payback times. At the moment Optibuild is in a Danish and an English version.

Under “downloads” it is possible to download final summary reports from several target projects and more will be available.

It is also possible to download the total economy calculation tool Optibuild in both a Danish and an English version. An introduction to Optibuild can also be downloaded.  Soon also the Building Energy and Environmental Assessment Methodology, Beeam, can be downloaded from here.

As regards information on best practice technologies there is a link possibility to the greenglobal21.com website where there is also an interactive version of the so-called Green Build energy and environmental point system.
